Marine Bollard
Marine bollards offer a simple and cost-effective solution to meet mooring requirements and safely secure vessels at ports and harbours. The marine system provides bollards in a range of design profiles, sizes, and mooring line capacities to suit all mooring applications alongside jetties, berths, wharves, and dolphins.
Material
The commonly used materials for manufacturing mooring bollards are cast steel and ductile cast iron.

Painting
As marine bollards are frequently exposed to harsh environmental conditions, high-quality painting is crucial for their durability and longevity. Our bollards are coated with a layer of epoxy paint as the first coat, followed by a second layer of either bituminous or polyurethane paint as the topcoat. The total dry film thickness (DFT) of the coating is about 300-350µm, providing excellent protection against corrosion and wear.

Quality Control
It is important to ensure the quality of our marine bollards, and therefore, we offer independent 3rd party inspections upon request. The inspections include several testing items such as dimensional checking, bollards and anchorage calculations (if required), physical and chemical properties for casting, and painting and surface checking.
